Pet ID Tags. What does safety reflective mean?
We use 3M™ Scotchlite™
reflective coating. This color matched coating, applied to the non-engraved side
of the tag, is not apparent until it becomes highly reflective in
dangerous low-light conditions.
We developed the first reflective tag nearly 10 years ago.
Others now sell "reflective" tags that are simply shiny or brightly colored
stickers.
Our safety reflective tag makes pets more visible at night which
helps make them safer. Do not be fooled by cheap imitations.
We offer eight different shapes and three sizes.
Our
small size is suitable for animals up to 16 pounds. Medium is recommended for 17
to 25 pounds. Our large size is for animals 26 pounds and over. The
plastic option is also available in six different colors. Click on the link
below
to view options or to place an order.
Our plastic is very durable. The plastic that we use is
thicker than most tag plastic used by other companies. Plus, plastic is
quiet, compared to metal, when placed next to other metal items on the collar
such as license and vaccination name plates. The engraving on our plastic is
also slightly easier to read than on the metal.
Our stainless steel is a more traditional material and may be
more durable in cases of animals that are rough with or like to chew on a tag. Some people simply prefer the traditional look and feel of
solid stainless steel. Others prefer the elegance of polished brass.
Colored aluminum is a material used by some other companies. The color on
these can wear off quickly and it may become difficult to read. Aluminum is the
material most often used for license and vaccination name plates because it is less
expensive than plastic, brass or stainless steel. However, these are typically
replaced every year. The identification does no good if it is unreadable.
Each tag is guaranteed for the life or your pet. We will replace
any tag, free of charge, if it breaks or wears out. For more information, call
our 24 hour toll free customer service phone number, 1-800-854-0519. Customer
service is our number one priority. If you are not 100% satisfied we will
replace your tag or issue a refund. Please feel free to contact us at any time
with questions or comments.

They make great gifts. An attachment ring is included with each tag.
Identifying your animal with one of our I.D.'s is one of the best ways to
ensure the safety of you loyal friend. Animal shelters are full of animals that
were turned in as strays because they were not properly identified. Having a
microchip inserted requires a trip to the vet. A person finding a lost animal
would also have to make a trip to a vet or animal shelter in order to have it
scanned. Also, there are different brands of microchips sold and the scanning
devices used may not all be compatible with one another. Putting a tattoo on
your animal may be a good way to mark it as belonging to you. However, it is
usually not an effective way for someone to get in touch with you to return your
loyal friend to you. Having an I.D. nameplate, along with a microchip and/or a
tattoo is the best way to ensure the return of your lost animal.
Orders are typically processed and mailed the next business day.
